so it goes music: R. Flack, B. Miles, M. Angelou lyrics: 小美 arrangement: Terry Chan
slightly cool is the autumn when it touches my wounds slightly cool is the wine when bitterness slowly pervases slightly cool is me who never forget the excuses when saying goodbye in a late autumn
why in those days we never knew how to love why after breaking up we realized we were so much in love why at night there was swelling sadness were they all inappropriate
in this fleeting life, I journey on in solitude with my lament of love vapouring in the wind haphazardly I stand in the street corner gently engulfed by the evening haze as if I've lost my map (I pray in the darkness)
a heart without dreams can never learn how to love let my lonely heart bid you farewell loneliness is drifting near at this moment do I think it is unfair
I almost have you back yet my heart is afraid to wait in silence (my heart is making a curse) at night, I think of tomorrow and I'm not staying around anymore
love is a rush of wildwind the scent of a summer rose a whistle blowing on a distant track and when it goes it goes (so it goes) translation: memories.blossom@gmail.com ________________________
微涼 曲: R. Flack, B. Miles, M. Angelou 詞: 小美 編: Terry Chan
Love is a rush of wild wind The scent of the summer rose A whistle blowing on a distant track And when it goes, it goes.
hello my loneliness music: 陳秀男 lyrics: Thomas Chow arrangement: Andrew Tuason
hello, feelings do you still remember when we ran into the breeze together hello, feelings who treated me as good as you and gave me more than enough to squander you said you were getting slothful and would like to hide in a lazy corner I said I was feeling cold and would like to be single hello, feelings come and hold my body come and hold my empty body
hello, feelings sorry I've left you behind and ran away to work hello, feelings I almost forgot I didn't like any restraints you said you were getting used to being left behind everyday I said it was too late for me to feel sorry I'd also like to call it a day hello, feelings come and hold my body come and hold my empty body
you said I had become aloof and would neglect you again I said you were too introspective you wouldn't be surprised at all hello, feelings come and hold my body come and hold my empty body

mercy music: Dick Lee lyrics: Thomas Chow arrangement: Terry Chan
the umbrella in my heart has been tugged rigorously in the storm while the rain is pouring down
I quietly say a prayer for the nights I was lost in drunken solitude
distort my vision arouse my desires the wine is flowing down who will take away my long lonely nights I hope for an amnesty who is willing to render me
mercy mercy me! (mercy) mercy mercy me! (mercy) mercy mercy me oh let my heart grow wild oh let my heart grow wild tonight (for one night) mercy! mercy
I don't want to hide there is also a tug of war in my heart which silently cascades
I hold fast my umbrella standing in the rain to watch vehicles racing by and spend my night as such
impair my vision put off the imbalance my heart is now withering it cannot grow wild temporarily I hope for an amnesty can someday somebody render me
every night what has been tangling me is actually my own self I'll wait for a night that I can be wild again tonight I only want to stay in the wind and sigh exhausted, yet I still can't forget the nights being wild
music:陳耀川 lyrics: Thomas Chow arrangement: Andrew Tuason
oh let me smile, it might not be easy oh let me smile, I insist oh let me smile, I am still willing to try in the past, it was me who buried my own rational mind
the moon says I can the sun also approves after crying all these times I only wish for this day to arrive
oh let me smile for just once, I think oh let me smile away my sadness oh let me smile for just once I'd ask for nothing else if I could just simply smile
oh let me smile about this story oh let me smile about my infatuation oh let me smile with my self-reliance in the future, I can remember the irony of love
love can become too comfortable and rather dissatisfying after all these hardships I just call it quits like this
oh let me smile for just once, I think oh let me smile about the will of heaven oh let me smile for just once if I desert you, it was never intended
it's okay, if I can still smile oh let me smile, who can I rely on? I wish I could smile one more time it's really out of my hands
dreamer music/arrangement: Dick Lee lyrics: Thomas Chow
the deserted voice has risen again yet how many deserted feelings still linger if one never listens, never makes contact, one will never feel the pain if I don't bother to see, don't bother to recall, nobody will bother to ask me about the things I've got today they are too much to manage
heaven, it ends day after day earth, it ends day after day my heart can't predict what's in store I'm no longer insignificant let yesterday come to an end perhaps in a certain month on a certain day on a certain night I'll feel tired
how often people embrace changes how frequent people make up their minds and march forward decisively a clear day, followed by a rainy day it seems to end but it actually ends in vain even if your future is not very promising, it doesn't matter
heart, it ends day after day dream, it ends day after day although it is hard to predict my own determination has not faltered at all perhaps in a certain month on a certain night... translation: memories.blossom@gmail.com ________________________
In retrospective, Drifting struck the fine balance between commercial success and artistic achievement. In light of the groundbreaking City Project trilogy, SL rose to superstardom in the HK pop music scene. Her next album became the centre of interest and generated many an expectation. Everyone was asking merely the same question: how on earth would SL surpass her achievement in pop music and bring more pleasant surprises to her fans? Deliver she did. In fact, Drifting built upon the experimental unison of oriental and occidental music elements found in Paradise in my heart, and carried it one step further in this album. In Dreamer I and II, Dick Lee created a masterpiece marrying traditional Chinese instruments such as er-hu and flute, with symphonic instruments such as grand piano and strings. And yet, the album also includes other genres of pop music, including R&B (Love and Life), funk (Mercy), hip house (Crazy for You), ballad (And So It Goes, Thanks For Your Love), duet (You are the One I am waiting for) and acoustic/piano ballad (Drifting). This album highlights yet another big leap forward in SL's vocal technique and performance, may that be a much broader and higher vocal range, or a more diverse and adaptable delivery that precisely nails down the genre of music in question. Drifting, like a black and white movie, is truly a timeless classic that remains evergreen and refreshing. ____________________

you said you only wanted something from me for your memory I said yet there were shattered dreams I didn't want to repeat as if heaven has sent me this day I could only say I will my mind is confused, but passion is far from over
you said how could my cold hands feel so warm on your face I said how could everything become so familiar in front you an indescribably natural moment an unexpected intimate evening how warm when it arrives
without you, I still love you we breathe in the same room again I can't stand not to be with you (I can't bear not to be with you)
without you, I still love you I have never loved you as tragically and beautifully as I do hold you tight, I hold you tight again
you asked if you could stay beside me and hold me to sleep I feared that I didn't know how to hide my happy tears
a bittersweet moment of infatuation a speechlessly passionate evening yet tomorrow is not too far away
without you, I still love you we breathe in the same room again I can't handle such a wonderful surprise
without you, I still love you I don't believe I can let myself lose you again hold you tight, I hold you tight again translation: memories.blossom@gmail.com ________________________
brief encounter music/arrangement: Anthony Lun lytics: Calvin Poon
looking at the afternoon sun which brings a shower of golden rays nobody could possibly resist the aroma of a cup of coffee the world is just too busy, and a day too long everyone should take a break to ease the stress
I meet you once again, so perfect as if we have a date talking about our recent lives we also create many fantasies
a chat is usually common, and will soon be forgotten there is no need to cherish and treasure looking back, everything seems to be just normal but the way you think and act while talking and smiling with you, I've also fallen for you
quietly I look at the sun again while the shadows are lengthening from our eyes we can see the thoughts of each other we only meet by chance, and usually stay apart I'd better finish my coffee one more time
we say goodbye again and move on with our own lives the day without having much to do we can always meet in this cafe and chat again
looking up at the vast clear skies where white clouds are embracing the setting sun the streets begin to cool down slightly in a breeze, everything seems to be exactly the same but you're so good looking today while talking and smiling with you, I've also fallen for you
if someday we meet again could we possibly try to tell each other the feelings in our hearts if someday we meet again I'm afraid there's no way it could be as close as this encounter
flower in the wind music: Dick Lee lyrics: Richard Lam arrangement: Terrence Chan
who can forget in the morning haze it was you who kissed my half-awakened body who can forget on a long tender night we smiled at each other, how genuinely it was enchantment and intoxication how much I wanted to pursue with you again but a rootless soul like me must leave someday
look ahead and move on, will you even if someday I'll miss you in the coming years, please try to completely forget about once you have slept beside a wildflower in the wind once you have fallen in love with a woman in the wind
as time goes by, people become older and wiser you will finally find your own direction you will forget in the wandering years when you felt tired, you used to sleep in my arms the wind and I, perhaps on my odyssey one day, will come to and fro together and finally find the things I really long for
look ahead and proceed forward, allow me and let you go before I cry out my tears in the coming years, please try to completely forget about once you have slept beside a wildflower in the wind once you have fallen in love with a woman in the wind
before you go away, come and kiss me call me again with the intimate nickname of yesterdays in the coming years, please try to completely forget about once you have slept beside a wildflowerin the wind once you have fallen in love with a woman in the wind
